Happy 4th of July!

BOOM!

Today marks the 236th birthday of USA.  Granted, I spent half the day working, but I still had fun today.

A number of friends and I put together a barbecue and we all had a decent meal in the early afternoons.  Afterwards, we played games in the pool until 4pm.

I really hope I can learn to swim properly.  I can't seem to kick my legs up in the water without feeling pain in my lower back.  I wonder if the slipped discs injury had something to do with it?

I didn't get to see any fireworks this year, but I don't mind.  I've seen some preludes to the big ones a couple of days past.  More importantly, there hasn't been any fire spawning around Provo...yet.

Although I don't agree with everything our politicians do in this country, I still love our nation.  I can only hope we put the right people into power, so our prosperity will be preserved for generations to come.
