Pinecone Enterprises

It would appear that I have fallen off the face of the Earth recently. Well, yes that did happen, but that's story for another time. I've been busy for the past few weeks due to assignments at work and research lab. Not to mention, I'm also studying for the MCAT among other things.

To summarize the entertainment aspect of my past few weeks: Metal Gear Solid 4, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Minecraft. Not the most healthy combination. Then again, I still stay in shape and get things done.

This post is long overdue. I did the same thing for when my friends and I moved into the Miller (ugh, the horror of a place).

Once again, we have Ammon. The patriarch/mother that overlooks the well-being of the boys in the house (weird, I'm so used to type apartment).

He is one of the most computer-savvy person in our group, and studying Informational Systems at BYU. Ammon is just working for Spring and Summer, but he is busy with other venture. You may see him lurking around the Clyde Building.

He is a great cook! He learned the art of Indian cuisine since his mission. Sorry ladies, he is taken.

I'm still the "angry uncle" that lives in the house. I've taken a break from socializing and interacting with people for the summer. All I'm doing right now is working and preparing for the MCAT.

I served in England, and that has changed my attitude ever since. This is what happens when you combine two of the dominant cultures in the world; namely, Chinese and British. I've become an interesting bloke.

I'm a Medical Laboratory Science major and I'm finishing up in two semesters. For whatever reason, I have two minors: molecular biology and chemistry.

I'm usually around the house and disappear into the night when duty calls. Chances are, if I'm not at home, I'm either in the labs or at BYUB.

Other than that, nothing big going on here aside from writing missionary letters.

No, that ain't a cannon
Jonathan is the physics "nerd" in the house. If you ever want to have a meaningful intellectual conversation with him about the sciences, he is the man to talk to.

If you don't like physics but enjoy outdoor activities such as climbing, he's also the man for you.

He served in Boise, Idaho. Doesn't seem very exciting, but his persona will show you otherwise.

Obviously, he is studying physics at BYU. You may find him in some of the cool labs in the Eyring Science Center and sometimes in the Planetarium (yes, he runs shows).

A fun fact for y'all: Jonathan and I are related.

We still have John Connor (yes, that is his name)! John is taking classes during the Spring only. He jumped off the Microbiology train and hopped onto the Information System track.

He works at the call center for BYU's OIT, so he's used to dealing with people who are severely deficient in technological operations.

John served in Cambodia and also knows Japanese. He is a very talented cook, gamer, etc. In fact, sometimes I think this man is more Asian than I am.

The man is taken and the beautiful lady to his left is his gal.

In some aspects, Nick is a lot like Jonathan. They both served in Idaho, albeit they were in different missions. Being our resident filmmaker and producer, we do have a lot of quality entertainment.

With that said, he does run his studio: Nixart Films. He is hoping to be a director someday and is currently studying business at BYU in the meantime. Right now, he is working for the summer as well. You may see him hanging out at the College of Mathematical Sciences.

Be sure to keep an eye out for his upcoming projects!

Nick is no longer the "baby bro" of the group. We've replaced Dalin with someone else that fits that role.

And finally, the newest and youngest crew since the parting with Dalin is Tyler Potts, a.k.a. TK.

A resident musician and LED light enthusiast. TK is studying Biophysics with a dash of Philosophy. The philosophy part can either guarantee a thought-engaging conversation regardless of the topic or a headache, depending on what you are trying to do.

TK is somewhat of the jack-of-all-trades character who is constantly improving his skills to multi-talented person.

He also served in England, but the other side of the River Thames from me. I am proud of the new addition to the team. Once again, sorry ladies, this one has been taken as well.

That sums up the group in the new house we dubbed Pinecone. Some people may call our house something different, but that's no biggie. We are all looking forward to good year(s) and quality times before graduation and/or marriage.

Don't look for us! We'll look for you.
