I certainly did not enjoy waking up for a 8:00 class today. I'm glad I only have one class like that once a week. My MMBio 102 class is 80% female. Well, I guess I'll have to get used to that along with my Chem 285 class.
Speaking of Chem 285, I was so mad that my iClicker died in the middle of the class today...That totally screwed up my quiz grade. Of course, the professor wasn't too sympathetic about that either. Oh well, I can still do well this semester if I try hard enough.
It's only the second day of school and I already have tons of homework. During breaks between classes, I simply do homework and a bit of my guide role. Life is busy, but it is good busy.
I went to my Intro to Art History (ArtHC 111) class tonight, I had a hard time staying awake. It was not because the class was boring, but the class went from 5:30 to 8:00, which was late in the day.
I guess on the bright side, there were at least one person that I know in all my classes. So, I won't be bored to death this semester that's for sure. Or is that a sign that I need to get out of Provo soon? I am so tired, but I still have SOOOOO MUCH readings to do for tomorrow...can't catch a break.

First Day!
It was the very first day of school! I was glad I didn't have class till 9:00. I was lucky and saw some people I knew on my way to my classes. Sadly, the only class, so far, that has people I know in it is my MMBio 240.
I had to work for an hour this morning, which wasn't so bad, except I had to man 3 stations at once. It was doable, just had to move around a bit. Looks like I'll still have over 20 hours despite of people coming in early for me for some shifts. Well, we'll see what happens.
I saw someone I didn't want to see today at the Cougar Eat. I conveniently didn't talk to her because she was talking to some other person. I was eating at a different table about 40 feet away with my friends. I didn't want to be alone when she was in sight.
I had great fun at the ward opening social tonight. Got to know some people in the ward. I believe this semester will be a great one! I should really get on with my homework. I don't want to fall behind early this time.

Last Day of Summer
Happy Bunday!! |
Church was way packed this morning. Having over 150 people in the same sacrament room on the seventh floor of the Tanner Building seemed crazy, but it wasn't so bad. I saw many familiar faces and some new ones. My first impression was that this will be a good year.
I finished up my last Sunday shift for at least the next 4 months today. Boy, did I feel good! I didn't enjoy working on Sundays at all even though there was not much to do during my shift. I hope my work schedule for Fall will be just as nice as I thought it would be. I'll find out this week.
Ryan and his brother (and family) came by tonight. We had a pleasant conversation. It's not often I see friends' parents, but I usually get along with them. It sucks to be the oldest in the apartment, but whatever. I'll still do what I want.
Ward prayer was more involved. I actually tried to get to know people. That's somewhat rare because it usually takes me a week or two before I feel comfortable mingling with new people. Of course, I still don't remember everyone's name, but that'll definitely change when the ward list comes out and members start showing up on my Facebook.
I have a good feeling about this year.

Ridiculous
I wonder whose signature is on there...? |
Anyways, I went to work meeting after hanging around campus for a bit. I met with my friend Fan Fan and caught up on a few things. For work in the Fall, looks like I have roughly 21 hours a week. How is that possible with an on-campus job? Well, BYU Broadcasting is technically not academically related. I just needed the HR's approval to get it going. Another factor that contributed to that was the fact that most people can't work Monday and Wednesday mornings (98% of us have classes...). I was only able to take away 1 hour from each morning and thus boosting my hours.
So apparently, the last roommate showed up with his mom and brother. His brother will be staying with us for about 2 weeks because his school doesn't start till then. Haven't met him yet, but I've added him on Facebook. Looks like I'll be the oldest guy in the apartment this Fall. :( I don't wanna be responsible! lol
I tried to help Zach moving his piano out along with many other guys (Tyler, Collin, Taylor, etc.) The thing accidentally landed on my right hand when we were going off the stairs. I only got bruises on my middle and ring finger plus a minor cut... thank goodness!
It was yet another disappointing live session at work tonight. I watched the women's volleyball team lose...at least they won 1/3 games this weekend. I'm not a great volleyball fan, though. However, I did learn how hitting % was calculated. It goes something like: (Kills - Errors) / Attacks. Now, the whole "negative hitting percentage" line actually makes sense. The funny thing was, the question popped up on live broadcast because we sent that question. :v
Church tomorrow! Let's check out the new peeps and I'll work my very last Sunday shift for at least the next 4 months!

Disappointment...
I thought the day would start out the way I planned, but nope. There were some minor setbacks, but who doesn't have them in life?
I went shopping with Ammon today. Once again, we hit WinCo. The most annoying part of that experience was being asked for my id when I was about to pay the bill. That was the second time this week I went about not carrying any "proper" ids when I go shopping. It's funny now I look at it, but it was slightly embarrassing and irritating at the time.
Work was okay... We were all slightly disappointed that the Cougars lost both games tonight. It was not exactly the best way to end a summer before school starts. Let's hope BYU can beat The Ole Miss. If it was any consolation, I had some cookies left over from a preview event the broadcasting crew was doing tonight at work. The most important thing was I felt productive during my shift.
I was also somewhat surprised when Andrew told me he was not going to work with the MCR anymore. He will be switching to graphics design department where he'll not only make more per hour, but also more geared towards his major. At any rate, it's been good. :v

Satisfied
Today had been a good day. I had free lunch at work thanks to the gruesome "retreat" they put all the full-timers through. My shift went by really quickly due to training new employees. I'm looking forward to not working 40 hours a week during the semester.
Still, Taylor and I saw no signs of the new roommates moving into our place.
I hung out with Ammon tonight and watched him whooping his residents at SNES games. I sat out because I didn't want to be destroyed. I knew I was no competition against him. We talked and exchanged thoughts. We put up the awesome poster he made in his room. The difference between Ammon and I is that he actually finished his artworks.
I'm looking forward to the new semester. It will be a new beginning filled with new people and opportunities. For once in my academic career, I have a reason to focus, however ridiculous that reason might be. I'll be a step closer to my degree and saving more money for the future!
While I roved with Ammon (he's an RA, mind you), we passed by many freshmen. They all looked so young...both guys and girls. It was hard to believe that we looked that young when we first came to college. I suppose that is one of the many effects of age.

Last Stretch
Work went by fast today because there were people coming in here training. I had the opportunity to train a few newbies so they will be ready for the job when the semester comes around in a few days.
Once again, Taylor and I didn't see any new roommates moving in. It's starting to be depressing. Since I didn't have anything planned this evening, I simply walked around and visited some peeps, had some conversations and called it a night.
Eric went to the temple today and did some ordinances for some of the names I had for him (what a nice guy! :v).
I've been thinking about my life and its direction lately. Obviously, school is number one. It's the reason why I'm here. Anything else is considered a side quest for me. Of course, I wouldn't rule out dating, but I'd rather not deal with it right now (remember how bad it turned out last winter because I didn't stick to that promise?). When the time is right, I'm sure the right person will show up. Becoming more financially stable is number two. Since I pay for mostly everything, I would love to be able to save more than a few hundred dollars a year.
With so many things hang in the balance, I'm actually quite excited to see how things will turn out in the near future.

Missed Out
When I walked into work at noon today, I saw some newbies getting trained. Looks like we got a dozen or so new people this Fall. I didn't get to train anyone, which was nice. Although, training folks would have made time flew by a lot faster. I also noticed that I somehow missed a punch at the end of my Sunday shift. Well, luckily I had it fixed.
I was going to go grocery shopping with Ammon today, but our schedules conflicted. Instead, I went to Macey's and did some light purchases. To my surprise, I came home and noticed that Taylor was still asleep. That wasn't remedied until 9:00.
It was not until later I remembered there was a women's soccer game tonight. I would have gone if there were people to go with. The bishopric visited with the people in the ward and I noticed that Bishop Hart had an interesting haircut. It wasn't bad at all.
And now, back to music.

Feels like a Tuesday
I remember getting a phone call this morning at around 11 o'clock. David was just responding to my text which I sent a few days ago. His Blackberry died a few weeks back, so he's been on the back up phone, and that phone was never really that reliable. The good news was, he found his stuff he supposedly left in Provo.
We didn't see any new roommates moving into the apartment, so I guess we won't see them until later in the week.
I did some more organization around the apartment and bought some cleaning supplies. Afterwards, I went on campus where I bumped into Jon. We went for some textbook shopping in the Bookstore. I was only missing the media pack for my chemistry class this Fall. I forgot my id, so I had to print out a ghetto copy of it to prove my identity. They did not take my temple recommend as a valid id (well, that's obvious).
I came back home and decided to pay a visit to Laci. We had a good conversation. I have to admit, the new Macs are pretty cool. I didn't cook dinner tonight, so I simply went to DQ and bought something to eat.
Zach got back tonight and he's going to be moving the rest of his stuff out. He might even crash for the night. We'll see. It's good to see some more familiar faces.

Goofed Off
Rabbits, chipmunks, oh my! |
So, my Sunday was straight forward from the time I woke up to when I finished work. Taylor and I managed to move things around the apartment in an attempt to "beautify" the place. It went well. We just need Zach to move the rest of his stuff out in order to add the finishing touches.
On the to do list: buy a new adapter for my laptop. It's been getting annoying trying to get the thing to work.
It was sad to hear that baby Ralphie passed away yesterday. It was such a cute little guy too. :(

Roaming
Scary, isn't it? |
Colton was moving the rest of his stuff out, so I got a chance to talk to him (and lend a hand of course). I left for campus around 3:30 because I was fed up with being by myself in the apartment. Taylor was up in Salt Lake and that left me with little to do.
The campus was relatively empty. I stopped by Campus Floral and learned that they were in the process of moving to the north of campus. Looks like everyone is relocating themselves close to the Marriot Center. I was able to talk to my friend Natalie and we caught up with the things that happened this past 4 months.
Work was very nice tonight. I had pizza (thanks to JMF) and there were no on-air issues at all during my shift.
I probably gonna get a midnight snack and go to bed. I believe church is at the same time as last week tomorrow.

Friday Again!
It's another Friday. Taylor and I didn't feel like waking up until past noon despite of our alarms sounded an hour and half before. I just didn't feel like there was any reason for me to wake up. Provo is rather dead at the moment.
As a result, Taylor and I just worked at home before we went off with our night.
My brother is now in college...talk about crazy! I feel really old now...
Work was fun in the general sense. Lots of thanks to Julie for doing me a favor. I have awesome friends! I learned a few things about baseball history tonight, so I felt it was worth my time. I'd forgotten how I acquire interesting facts about the world when I'm at work by watching the programs that were being aired.
One of the things I learned was that The World Series is called that because the very first sponsor was called The World; hence, it was not named based on sheer American arrogance.
A curious sighting at apartment 6: the door was open. I'm not sure why and I didn't want to find out. I might stop by tomorrow to see if it was intended.
What to do now? Probably listening to some music until Taylor gets home and then I'm going to bed.

Shock
Guess what? I saw the first guy being interviewed at work today! Other than that, it wasn't very exciting. Although I noted that I was more focused than usual during work.
I checked the mail for the first time in a few days. What did I find? BILLS!! Oh, the joy of being a grown-up... :\
I hung out with Shannon a bit after work. We got ourselves some Little Caesar's pizza and bought some drinks at Sonic's. It was my first time over there. Maybe next time I'll order some food from that place. We bumped into one of her friends, Tom. He was quite a nifty fellow. I thought he was a fun guy.
I came home and finished up some more work and returned the fork I borrowed from Jess. Said hi to her family since they were visiting and here I am, after a combination of work and play later.

Passing Out
I've had about 7 hours of sleep today, but felt really tired for some reason.
Since I worked for 8 hours yesterday, today's shift didn't seem as bad. I saw new employees getting trained and the potentials interviewed. Besides Tristan, I don't think I saw any male newbies coming in for the fall.
I also had the chance to see my friend Manisha one last time before she entered the MTC. We all hung out at Jess's apartment. It's weird to think that I won't see her for another 2 years and it's highly likely that I'd graduated by the time she comes back. Speaking of Jess, I'm glad everything was all right with her.
I did some light shopping afterwards and tried to be productive online. Ammon invited me to his apartment and play Team Fortress 2, but silly Vista just didn't agree with me. I spent 3 hours trying to get things to work. I need to buy myself a new computer this Black Friday.

Standing By
My day started early as I had to work at 10:00 this morning. I had to cover part of Andrew's shift. I think working close to 40 hours a week the past 4 months has had a toll on my patience. I was having a hard time staying focused for 8 hours.
I was pleasantly surprised when I came back to my apartment. It smelled like lemon cake! :) Looks like the carpet cleaning people did a good job, but I still think this place needs new carpet. If we ever get new ones, I would make everyone take off their shoes before walking any further into the apartment.
I didn't do much tonight. So, I spent my extra time on the computer. I thought about visiting Ammon, but he was busy with other RAs when I arrived at his place.
Other than that, I just spent some time at my "second job", which is basically for fun.
School needs to start soon.

Errands
Since David and Zach moved out, Taylor and I have been trying out different things to put the place in a new order. We have a rough idea, but it'll still take a few days before everything is set straight.
I did some errands around the campus and apartment. On my way to the Wilkinson Center, I bumped into Jeff, who later led me back to his workplace (I thought I might as well say hi to Michelle). We exchanged some pleasantries and Jeff allowed me to leave with a handful of candies.
I did my strolling around the library as well. I talked to Brittany (and Jordan) and then I left. While inside the Wilk, I happened to pass by The Scoreboard. I saw Jennifer working there. The most disheartening thing I noticed was that the triple bacon burger was no longer on the menu. However, I did like the new buns they are now using.
I picked up my suit from the dry cleaner and proceeded to dispatch my mountainous laundry load. It was not because I had a lot of clothes. It was because I had to wash my bed sheet, pillow, towels, etc. along with my normal load. Took me a few hours, but it was worth it in the end.
Happy news of the day was the management at the Riviera are going to do carpet cleaning for our apartment tomorrow! I swear the carpets here are decades old.
I watched Iron Man 2 at Eric's place and then went back to my apartment for some gaming. I had a good night. I've been doing double-digit kills almost every round. If it weren't for the bug that got me killed so many times, I'm pretty sure my overall stats would have been better than my current one.
Got 8 hours of work tomorrow...

One thing I got out of the talks today was to be at the right place at the right time. Needless to say, I think most of us have faced that issue in our lives. Sometimes, I do wonder if I am where I needed to be because I could easily how my life would have been different if I made certain choices over the others. I can't dwell in the past, so the only thing I can do is move on.
Work was simple as always on a Sunday. I was extremely tired, but glad I could pull through. Anil shared some insights with us and I thought I should take up some other things to aid me financially in this depressing economy.
I learned that David got home safely. It was still a strange feeling because for a moment, I still expected to see him when I returned to the apartment. It happens I guess.
Alas, there was no ward prayer tonight. I went back and forth between apartment 34 and my own. I ended up playing games for the rest of the night while setting up for my new venture. I definitely believe this upcoming semester will be great!
(・∀・)つ⑩
Move Out
Basically, 80% of the population had to move out today. I tried my best to help my friends around the Riv, but there are only so many of us who were staying and were able to help. It was somewhat disheartening because I was starting to get to know those people better and now they've moved to a different part of the town. Obviously, I could still visit if I wanted to, but it'd inconvenient unless transportation or a specific purpose present itself.
It was somewhat touching to see David go. It was the same feeling when Zach flew out, but the difference was that I may never see him again. Then again, I generally bump into people in the most unlikely places. I learned a lot from them. They were essentially the older brother figures I needed in my life to get my acts together. I felt somewhat spoiled because for once I was the youngest, and then among the youngest, in the apartment.
I went back and forth between the Riv and Wyview because Ammon has returned and I wanted to catch up and reassess our plans for the upcoming school year. I did spend some time playing basketball and some old Super Nes games with him.
I went to work and honestly could not remember much details, except for the fact that I had no replacement due to the fact my fellow coworker did not find a substitute for her shift and she did not show up...

Sleepless
Once again, the blasted sounds of workers on the roof kept me from falling asleep 7:00 in the morning. Zach had to catch his shuttle to the airport, so we set the alarm to 5:50. Technically, I didn't sleep since that time and we only went to bed 4 hours prior to that alarm.
Taylor and I discussed the new system we are going to set up once David and Zach leave. We drew up some rough ideas on how we are going to run the apartment when new roommates move in.
I ran some errands today: ran my suit to the dry cleaner, finish up some of Zach's cleaning, and got a haircut.
I spent part of my early afternoon chatting with Jennifer before lunch. Since many maintenance works were being carried out, I was not amused when our water was shutoff around 4:00 because I couldn't cook dinner. I just made do with some breakfast items and nuggets in the fridge.
I paid visits to apartment 6 and hung out with Laci for a bit before work. I also learned that Ammon has returned to Provo.
Work was nice and chill. Too bad we didn't get pizza, but David had pizza at the apartment when I returned, so I was fairly stoked. There was some minor complications involving David's trailer, but I think we got past it... Well, I hope the same issue won't come up during his trek back to Washington...
A whole new beginning is upon us.

Fun Stuff
Work was certainly the same as usual, except I saw some potential new employees being interviewed by George and Simon. I had a few minors issues that I had to deal with, but other than that, it was cool.
I spent my early evening helping David pack up the rest of the stuff in his storage unit. Unfortunately, we didn't finish. However, we did get most of the stuff sorted. I killed a few stinkbugs via chemicals (cleaning agents) while I was there.
Later, we went bowling at Fat Cat's with Alyssa, Tim, and Eric. We played 3 games altogether. We were just having fun, so we didn't care about the score. We tried to bowl different ways and had fun. The group stopped by Macey's afterward for some midnight snack. I almost died from an uncovered manhole at some point, but it didn't happen.
I didn't eat dinner before all this happened, so I'm gonna go enjoy myself.

Happenings
I did not sleep well last night. I felt like I was awake the whole night because I distinctly remember tossing around in my bed since 1:30 in the morning and checked the time to be 3 something. I thought I was going to have a lot of work today, but luckily, all I did was checking files. I didn't speak to my coworkers or supervisors very much, though.
My afternoon was okay. There were a few setbacks involving my laptop, etc. Other than that, I was pretty chill. Got the new door code for fall. Helped James moved a few belongings into his trunk. I was going to go running today, but fatigue from the lack of sleep kept me from going.
The group went ice blocking tonight. It was so windy that my eyes hurt, so I didn't stay around. I felt bad, but I had to run. I came back home and had dinner and then went over to apartment 23 where we played a few games of Bang! I didn't win a single game and the last game ended with a tie because we hit curfew. It's hard to be a renegade when there were 4-5 players in the game.

Change
I went to work early just for fun today. It was my normal Tuesday shift, so not much happened. I didn't really speak to any of my coworkers except for Andrew.
I came home and helped David with organizing a few things in preparation for him to move out this Saturday. We also did some grocery shopping in the process. I decided to buy boxes of Instant Lunch noodles, so I don't have to spend some time cooking for some time. It turned out cheaper than me buying some ingredients for baking/cooking.
I helped David sort out belongings in his trailer. We talked for a few hours and then did things with Alyssa and Kelly. I hung out with them until I felt it was necessary for me to spend some time at apartment 6. I'm not sure if I want to go into details about it, but Tiare, Christine, Hannah, and Michelle were all there.
Currently, I'm still alive. HA!

Day Off
I didn't have work today! However, no matter how much I sleep, I still get tired.
The day was somewhat slow, but I liked it. I went on campus for the first time in a couple of weeks. BYUSA was hosting some events at Brigham Square, so there were free food around. I'm glad I got free barbecued pork and mashed potatoes.
There was a strange couple looking to buy David's mattress today. I won't even go into detail about them...
FHE at the Fishers' place: scripture charades! It was fun to watch the kids trying to act out scenes from the scriptures. We had some treats and pleasant conversations over there as well. :)
My friend, David Wise, invited to have sushi at the new Asian market. It was good. On my way back, I saw Katie taking care of the baby quail, who is now named Ralphy. Looks like she got herself a cute pet! :v
The rest of my night was spent talking to my roommates. It feel like I'm typing half-awake... well, you are correct.

Tired
California Quail chick |
Work is not even worth mentioning today because absolutely nothing happened.
I missed the unofficial break the fast due to work.
Apparently, Katie found a lost baby bird at her door. It was the cutest thing I've seen in a while. The girls at apartment 2 kept it in an open box and gave it some food (hopefully water too) and a little towel. After some research, I realized that it was a California Quail chick, which can be seen from the attached picture.
It made a lot of noises. It was probably scared and somehow got lost from its parents. I wonder what the girls are gonna do about it? Hopefully, a solution will be found soon.
Alyssa and Kelly took David and me to the tree swing at the nearby trail. We threw some rocks and each took a turn on the swing. It was a good change of scenery. We played games afterward, but I couldn't keep up because I was tired. I need to do something about the fatigue. I simply need more sleep.

Pondering
It's true! |
I would say my day was great. I had a good conversation with my family. I literally had a 200-minute conversation over the phone. Also, that definitely made my unlimited plan worth it.
I didn't do much with my roommates tonight, but it's okay. Although, it was kinda weird because I took off work for tonight and worked this afternoon so that I could hang out with David and I ended up not doing it. James kept me company while he waited for the Riv to figure out what was wrong with his lock.
My books for the upcoming Fall Semester came today. I liked how the loose-leaf textbooks came with binders. You could tell that a girl had the book before. I'm still glad that I saved $150 on textbooks this semester.
I figured I should put more meaningful things on this blog instead of daily happenings. Usually, insights come to me during Sunday. Perhaps as the semester commences, I'll update this blog weekly instead of daily. After all, who wants to know about the usual nonsense that happens in my life? I need a better reason for keeping this blog. Otherwise, it's just a mean of gaining attention, which is probably not a good idea in the long run.

Unproductive
It was another typical morning where I did absolutely nothing. I didn't even feel like talking to people. I felt so tired I just stayed in bed longer than allotted. It was an unproductive day. It was so unproductive that I didn't even bother play games. I just felt... dead; like something was missing in my life.
Shortly before work, I did visit Christine and Michelle (yes, they are fun to talk to). At work, I couldn't be more bored. What do you do when you have to work Friday night and you happen to monitor one of the most boring channels? I'll tell you what I did. I stared at the screens blankly.
Dinner break was awful because I hoped to get something from DQ and only to be foiled by, literally, an entire family. The line was horrendous! This had to be one of the biggest reasons why I hate Utah. Everyone and their grandmas had to cram into the line... Given the large size of an average LDS family, the line easily became 8+ people. I didn't eat at all because I was infuriated. Luckily, Hana brought in cake when she came in for her overnight shift.
Many things have been on my mind tonight. I've become more and more restless. I don't like pushing the blame on other people, but it is hard not to sometimes, especially when I'm just minding my own business.
I can be happy, it's just that someone or something seems to have a grudge against me and loves to send annoyances at me when I'm not in the mood for them. When was the last time I demanded anything from anyone anyways?
To lighten the mind, I decided to pay another visit to apartment 6. Let's just say Christine, Michelle, and Tiare do and say the funniest things.

Another Day
Once again, Zach and I woke up around 7:30 this morning because the workers were doing some roof work. As much as I hated it, I did notice that the annoying little red bugs were no longer around. Was there a correlation? Most definitely. I didn't eat much for breakfast. In fact, I only drank soy milk and some Sunny D.
Work had a little more happenings than usual. Shannon brought some crepes. There were no jam to go along with it, but they were good nonetheless. We also had pizza had work. Normally, that only happened during night time, so this was the first time that happened during business hour. The rest of the shift was straight forward.
It was slightly rainy when I got off work, but nothing drastic like last week. I sat around for the most part. I actually talked to Jon today. It seemed like he's been MIA for some time. I walked around the Riv and talked to people here and there like usual afterwards.
Later in the night, I did visit apartment 6. Looks like Michelle is back in town and they were holding some sort of party. I did stay and chat for a bit and then I left because I was starting to feel tired. I suppose I have something to look forward to on Saturday night. It'll be the last Saturday David is here in Provo.

Om Nom Nom Nom!
I only had 2 hours of work this morning. It was the most productive 2 hours I've ever had. I only had to manage 2 recordings and prep some promos. Time went by really fast, especially when I had Andrew, JMF, and Cade in the house.
I came home, played some games and met up with James to go for sushi. We went to Sushi Ya in Orem and we both went for the all-you-can-eat dinner special. I chose the "Alaska" first, followed by "Hamachi". Funny story behind the second order. I tried to ask the Japanese cook what a hamachi was and he started making it without hesitation (it is yellowtail or Japanese amberjack, a fish). I guess they didn't speak much English. Luckily I was on the buffet order. I loved wasabi in soy sauce! Finally, I finished my meal off with the "Mountain" and washed everything down with a good glass of Pepsi. The bill was a hefty $20, but I thought it was worth it.
Upon returning to my apartment, I took a brief nap and started playing games on my laptop again. I also talked to Christine at one point. When 8 o'clock hit, I was hoping for some sort of ward sports night, but no one showed up... :(
I chatted with Tiare for a bit and went to the Wilkinson Center to see David. Alyssa came along to keep us company as well. There were some teasing, etc., but it was a fun time. We played card games and watched Rocky IV.
Some other things happened between Wilk and home, but I'll save them for now. :P

Nonstop
My day started at 9:40 this morning and I've spent less than an hour at my apartment since. Even as I write this, I've only been home for 10 minutes. I started my day with a DQ Flamethrower Combo. :v
Work was excruciating long. Apparently, I was the worst offender of "leaving my workstation" according to the security cameras. Next time, I'm going out the other door. I was supposed to work until 7 tonight, but I realized that I would go over hours if I stayed, so I left early at 6:10. I'm ready to work only 18 hours a week during the semester.
I came home and I noticed David left a message on my laptop. I left my laptop logged in this morning to finish some system scanning. It was a funny message. I also noticed that I got a letter from one of my friends who's on a mission right now. Other than that, I paid my rent. The worst thing about growing up is paying your own bills...
I got a text from David and I went hang out with him at his workplace (and I brought some Wendy's food). We chatted about various things: people, personal lives, etc. He sold his couches at his storage units. I'm glad I was there because the guy had some major surgeries and couldn't lift much and the only other people that could lift at the time was his brother(?) and pregnant wife.
There were so many mosquitoes there... we were being eaten alive!! Afterwards, we went and got some frosty at Wendy's and hung around until the end of Dave's shift. Then, we came home.

A New Month!
Can you believe it? It's August already. This year sure is moving along.
Work was somewhat frustrating today because weather kept screwing with the recordings. Of the 10 recordings during my shift, only 3 managed to be without errors. I also picked up a few "engineering" things today.
I came home and did laundry. Then, for FHE, we went to the theater and watched Kung Fu Panda 2. It was a good film. I enjoyed it.
I spent part of my evening on my laptop until David and Alyssa invited me over to apartment 23 for some games. I didn't play with cards, so I just watched them playing war. I liked the Taylor Swift songs playing in the background, though. We later played Bang!. It was my first time playing and I thought the game was cool.
I didn't fold my laundry again. Oh well, I might do it tomorrow. I'll probably sleep on the couch or something.
